Vegetables are grown densely and fast, often under cover where diseases spread easily. Beneficial microorganisms are therefore introduced at every stage: into the seedling substrate, the soil, the transplants, the irrigation system and onto the leaf.
Soil treatment
Treat the soil while preparing it for planting or after removing the previous crop, spraying dEMetra Aktiv just before tillage. The aim is:
- looser soil structure that absorbs water better
- nutrients converted into forms plants can take up
- harmful microorganisms suppressed around the roots
- better germination and root development
- Open field
- dEMetra Aktiv 6–9 l/ha
- Protected growing (polytunnel, greenhouse)
- dEMetra Aktiv 8–10 l/ha
Apply in the morning or evening, not in strong sun or wind.
Seedling substrate
In container seedling production, substrate treatment helps prevent infection by harmful microorganisms, makes nutrients available and gives a quality substrate enriched with beneficial cultures and minerals.

Transplant treatment
Soak transplants before planting out so they adapt to new conditions faster and start growing sooner.

Drip irrigation
Dosing through a drip system helps keep soil moisture even around the roots and prevents scale build-up in the system itself.

Foliar treatment
Repeat during the season, especially at key growth stages. The interval depends on the crop and stage and ranges from 7 to 14 days. The aim is:
- a leaf environment that makes disease development harder
- stronger plant resilience and easier recovery from stress
- support for growth, flowering, pollination and ripening
- healthier-looking fruit with better storage life
- EM Aktiv Plus
- 8–10 l/ha per treatment or a 1–3% solution
