Wastewater treatment

MUNICIPAL SYSTEMS / WASTEWATER

Biological support where water, sludge and odour create problems.

Integrate beneficial microorganisms into drains, separators or an existing biological process at a point that matches the actual system flow.

The right application point starts with a system map

Influent, the process diagram and operating pattern show where eMB treatment can become part of the routine without disrupting existing stages.

What this solves

  • Unpleasant odours from drains, separators or treatment plants
  • Organic content contributing to blocked drains
  • Sludge and unstable operation in the biological stage

Who it is for

Municipal operators Industry Hospitality Facility managers

What you can expect

  1. 01

A clearly defined dosing point and routine

  2. 02

A more organised approach to drains, separators and sludge

  3. 03

Treatment connected to ongoing system observation

Solutions for critical system points

01

A steadier routine for municipal and industrial flows

Beneficial microorganisms are integrated into a suitable biological process according to the water source, influent changes and existing technology.

02

Connected sludge management

Sludge generation, recirculation and processing are reviewed together so the application point matches actual plant operation.

03

Targeted drain and separator treatment

The eMB range is intended for drains, separators, septic tanks and sewer systems, with dosing adapted to the facility.

Application

How biological treatment works

Positive cultures of microorganisms are added at the points in the system where problems arise. Once they become dominant, treatment proceeds without unpleasant odours, and biological activity is maintained by regular dosing. Treatment is applied to existing systems without extra equipment investment.

Available preparations: eMB Aktiv, eMB Balans and eMB Starter Aktiv (on request). Plant doses are set according to flow and process layout.

Where it is dosed

  • drains and manholes
  • grease and oil separators
  • septic tanks and collectors
  • SBR units, bio discs and biorotors
  • large biological treatment plants

How it is dosed

By hand at intervals recommended by the EM Plus team, aligned with how wastewater is generated and discharged — or with the BIO EM DOZATOR, a mobile dosing station that delivers the required amount at set intervals.

What treatment targets

  • suspended solids
  • nitrogen, sulphur and phosphorus
  • BOD and COD
  • unpleasant odours and working conditions

Role in the system

The technology can serve as the main wastewater treatment or as pre-treatment in existing systems. For new sites there are also biological treatment units with software control of dosing, aeration and settling.

How to integrate treatment into the system

  1. 01

    Map the water flow

Mark the source, inlet, drains, separators, biological stages, sludge and system outlet.

  2. 02

    Set the dosing point

Choose the introduction point and method according to the product, flow and daily operating pattern.

  3. 03

    Connect routine and monitoring

Record dosing, odour, drain or sludge condition and indicators the system already tracks.

FAQ

Wastewater-treatment questions

Is eMB intended for drains and separators?

Yes. The eMB range covers drains, separators, septic tanks and other parts of wastewater infrastructure.

Can treatment be integrated into an existing plant?

It can be considered according to the technology, process flow, dosing point and plant operating pattern.

What details are needed for industrial wastewater?

Send the source and water description, process diagram, flow or capacity, operating pattern and available analyses.

How is application followed?

Treatment is connected to dosing records, operating observations and indicators the system already measures.
