In field crops, EM Plus technology relies on beneficial microorganisms that enrich soil biological activity and act on the plant as a whole — in organic and conventional production. Because machinery passes are limited, treatments are timed to fit operations you already carry out.
1. Soil treatment before sowing
Treat the soil while preparing it for sowing or after removing the previous crop, spraying just before ploughing, rotary tilling or disking. The aim is:
- looser soil structure that absorbs water better
- nutrients converted into forms plants can take up
- harmful microorganisms suppressed around the roots
- better germination and root development

- 200–300 l/ha
Apply in the morning or evening, not in strong sun or wind.
2. Seed treatment
Seed treatment is recommended to disinfect seed, improve germination and achieve more even emergence. Mist or spray the seed while mixing. Sow straight away, or dry the seed and store it in a dark place until sowing.

3. Foliar treatment during the season
Two foliar treatments are recommended for field crops, at key growth stages. The simplest approach is to combine them with a pass you already make for fertiliser or crop protection. The aim is:
- a leaf environment that makes disease development harder
- stronger plant resilience and easier recovery from stress
- support for growth, flowering, pollination and ripening
- healthier-looking fruit with better storage life

4. Crop residue treatment
After harvest, beneficial microorganisms break down crop residues and increase the humus content, which matters for the next crop. Treat the area, then chop and incorporate the residues by ploughing or another mechanical operation.
