Perennial plantations need a good start for each plant and stable soil biology over the years. The EM Plus approach follows the plantation from site preparation and planting to regular leaf and fruit treatments.
Soil treatment when establishing the plantation
Treat the soil during preparation or after removing the previous crop, spraying dEMetra Aktiv just before tillage for the new plantation. The aim is:
- looser soil structure that absorbs water better
- nutrients converted into forms plants can take up
- harmful microorganisms suppressed around the roots
- better germination and root development

Apply in the morning or evening, not in strong sun or wind.
Planting stock treatment
Treat plants immediately before planting so they are as moist as possible. Soaking encourages rooting and growth, and suppressing harmful microorganisms protects the plant in the first stage after planting.

- 250 ml + 20 l water
- Soak the whole root
- 60–90 minutes before planting
Substrate for planting stock production
For container production, enrich the substrate with beneficial microorganisms and minerals.

Drip irrigation
Dosing through a drip system keeps moisture even around the roots and prevents scale build-up in the system.

Foliar treatment of leaves and fruit
The core leaf and fruit treatment uses EM Aktiv Plus, repeated during the season every 7 to 14 days depending on the growth stage. The aim is:
- a leaf environment that makes disease development harder
- stronger plant resilience and easier recovery from stress
- support for growth, flowering, pollination and ripening
- healthier-looking fruit with better storage life
